Attendance

State law requires that children of school age attend school. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to make sure that their child(ren) attend school regularly.

Why is it essential that your child attend school regulary?

  • Attending school regularly will make the most of your child's education
  • Your child will build each day's learning on the previous day

Things your can do to help:

  • Make sure your child attends school regularly and arrives on time
  • Try to make children's appointments (with doctor, dentist, haircuts, etc) after school or on early release days

When a student is absent from school, the student, upon returning to school must bring a note signed by the parent describing the reason for the absence.

Excessive tardiness will be addressed by the Superintendent.
